Screen Printing

One of my favorite classes I took during my time in college was definitely screen printing. I really enjoyed how it seamlessly combined a bold, creative process with the meticulous yet rewarding printing process. This class provided me with a wonderful opportunity to explore my artistic abilities and create projects that resonated with my passion for design.

Greetings From Sorrento

This four-screen print is an ode to my favorite place in the world: Sorrento, Italy. All of the doodles, type, and textures are done by hand, creating a relaxed feeling that resembles spending time on the Italian coast.

AN ODE

Beautiful Chaos

Instead of creating an image of ourselves, we were prompted to create a “non-likeness” self-portrait. I wanted to create a collage that represented my creativity, as well as who I am as a person. Collaging is something I enjoy doing in my free time, so I decided to do an analog to digital to analog approach, creating depth.

SELF-PORTRAIT

After purchasing tickets to Hozier’s Unreal Unearth tour, I decided to create a poster for the concert, since there wasn’t one already, and I wanted to have a physical memory from going to see him. My design reflects the sound of the album, which is very raw and natural, yet bold and deep.
